Drawing up needles are designed with a large bore to make drawing fluid out of ampoules, multi-dose vials, and bottles quick and easy.
This is a proper needle with a SHARP point to go through the rubber seal at the top of multi-dose vials. Once a hole with a sharp drawing needle is created, we advise using a blunt drawing needle for every injection until the vial is empty to avoid vial coring or increasing airflow to the fluid.
