Where to get needle supplies:

We can offer support with accessing injecting supplies for trans people who are self medicating in Ireland and Scotland.

Free Safe Injection Supplies Programme (Ireland only):

We are working in collaboration with Transgress the NGS to provide access to free safe injecting supplies to trans people in Ireland. Supplies are free and are sent by post using discreet packaging. To make a request you can fill out the form here. Supplies are posted at the end of every month, so it may take a few weeks to receive them.

Needle Exchanges (Ireland and Scotland):

You can access needles for free and dispose of them through the needle exchange services listed below.

Make a THR Healthcare Fund Request to buy your own needles (Ireland and Scotland):

We can cover the costs through our healthcare fund if you wish to buy a longer-term supply yourself. Get in touch by email to make a request: transharmreduction@protonmail.com. You can find links to purchase everything required for subcutaneous and intramuscular injections below.

This list is inexhaustive; feel free to supplement according to personal experience and preference. For example, you may prefer finer gauges of needle for either administration route.
